It was a good time had by all, and it was great being able to put names to avatars. Although the weather didn't cooperate, all in all, it accomplished what I think we all wanted: a chance to try, view, trade, and smoke all in great company. Looking forward to the next burner, and probably nicer weather and more members.

Feeding our less fortunate neighbour yesterday was a team effort, and the recommendation of Cavendish (I believe) to mutual acclaim of all. I, too, hope that he had a fuller belly and a happier sleep after dropping off those plates. He certainly seemed like he was having a tough day.
@easygoer @peckinpahombre @ghost - Gentlemen, we'd love to see you out at our next meet-up. There were some jokes about meeting in the same park in January, but I'm not doing that without a yurt and a propane heater.
@jdto - You were missed.
We'll do this again for sure. The more guys we draw, the more interesting the swap, and the stories. As it stood, we filled an entire 12' picnic table with pipes, and had to use over-flow space for the 'baccy.
Good times.

I hope we can all get together again and in nicer weather. Early June or even late August are nice times of summer. If it is in winter I probably wouldn't be there due to the fact that's when I do the majority of my hunting. After Dec 31 (closing day for deer) I assist farmer friends of mine clear coyote off their land, as well as the odd goose, duck, or dove ;)
I must be honest, I had a great time! We smoked our faces off (I smoked 6 almost 7 bowls in the time we were there lol)I was still full from the great lunch feast we had (minus the cutlery :rofl: Can't believe none of us thought of it) and all I got was a stink-eye look from the Mrs. about the new pipes but the half dozen Gerber Dasies I bought her on the way home changed that real quick ;)

@ Puffy, Are you referring to the Ropp "Everest"? They are still quite available in estates.
It was a great time, some good laughs. I think I smoked more then I ever have in a day, Which was fine in my books. Finally scored a Brigham Prince (Thanks Brian) to have my "there will be blood" pipe. And a beauty of a Brigham Chinook (Pat, I hope you enjoy that Dun!).
It was really great to meet some new pipers, and to catch up a bit with some old. Hope top trek up the 'shwa soon.
