Sail yellow. It's got very mild tobacco and the topping doesn't get in the way. It's topped with a light drizzle of something sweet. Sorta vanilla sorta marshmallow but mainly sweet.
I don't find them to be. I'm even in the process of an annual seven day commission set just for English Chocolate.Even though those three have flavorings in their names, they aren't overpoweringly flavored?
The DT Sweet Vanilla Honeydew is not. It has a good sweetness but not too much.Even though those three have flavorings in their names, they aren't overpoweringly flavored?
Hi all,
I'm a devoted Balkan/English and VaPer smoker - I bounce back and forth as the mood strikes me, but on the very rare occasion an aro sounds kind of nice. Trouble is, I don't want to go through tins on tins of aros that are overly sweet and flavored to find a more subtle aro. An aro that, to a Balkan smoker tastes like an aro because of the presence of some flavoring, but not so much that you attract a flock of non-smokers.
Thoughts on some of the better ones out there to try?
Oh man ... you had me at Perique and Turkish. Sounds great! Will have to look for this one.Although it's listed among their non-aromatic blends, Milan Tobacconist's "Our" London Dock is the first blend that springs to mind. The flavorful combination of tobaccos with the added buttered rum is incredibly aromatic to me!
Here's how it's described on their website:
""Our" London Dock is a non-aromatic pipe tobacco reminiscent of Middleton's discontinued London Dock, but it's appreciated on its own merits by new and experienced pipe smokers alike. Formulated with a medley of Perique, Turkish, Burleys, and a touch of buttered rum, this blend offers a very smooth and satisfying smoke."
YMMV
Okay the dark twist is growing on me. Since I'm so used to lat or perique, it tasted flat at first, but I'm coming to really appreciate this one.I like Mac Baren Vanilla Roll Cake, Dark Twist and also, University Flake. Lighter toppings/casings that do not overwhelm the tobacco taste.
