I don't seek it exclusively, and I enjoy taste just as much as the next guy, but I need some kind of comfort nowadays... my wife of 10 years gave up on our marriage and now my life is in turmoil. All I have at the moment is my pipes and my books. Sorry to get personal guys, I'm just in a lot of pain.
I was telling my CPA about the the divorce and she said just look at it as “a bump in the road”. It was good advice as the year long ordeal played out.

I’m happier now than I’ve been in a decade. No regrets or liability for her.

As someone else suggested, WLT Kentucky has some serious punch. Easy to roll or twist up and cut up. Get some of thier perique to go with it and you'll have something that'll no doubt smack ya upside the head. I'm sure cock n boll twist will also fit the bill, but I haven't tried that myself.

People experience blends so differently. I really like Bayou Night, but I have never noticed its being nic rich, so I live and learn. It has a robust flavor, and I knew it had some nic, but now I know. I also like Billy Budd, with cigar leaf, Old Joe Krantz, and Stratfordshire, all C&D bulk.

Effortless depths, sorry to hear about the rough spots in your life, and glad to hear that you are feeling better. I was seeing my wife through rehab after a series of surgeries related to a hip replacement. I came home and sat on the front porch with a large bowled pipe and a freshly popped tin of Dunhill Nightcap, and it was a major centering experience. I finally felt inside my own skin and better able to help her.

Two Friends Deacons Downfall and Redwood are blends you might want to check out. I have never smoked for anything other than flavor. Peterson Irish Flake is the strongest blend in my cellar but I only smoke it after a big dinner. I have always only smoked for flavor. If I want nicotine, I will smoke a Camel 99 cigarette.

It's worth a try -- I actually regard Kellys Coin as a strong blending burley (though I usually smoke it as-is), so it made sense to combine the two. I was pleasantly surprised by the combo, maybe you will be too.
I wanted to like Kelly's Coin, but I just couldn't, and I love rough Burley blends. Maybe I'll give it another try. I emailed Jeremy Reeves to ask what was in it, and he said its "mostly Dark Burley, but small quantities of Red Virginia, Cube Cut White Burley and Black Cavendish". I'll have to give it another couple bowls, then put some perique in it.

The OP rattled off a string of the strongest tobaccos on the market and said none fit his requirements. I don't think there's much point telling him about Irish Flake, etc. I would say to search S. America. Once in awhile you catch a reference on the board, but I would research this myself.
