EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9)

I have discovered that I really enjoy English blends that have a heavier Latakia presence. I would like an aromatic blend but can’t find anything that is as strong as or even close to the strength of the hearty English blends any recommendations??

Hi and welcome to the forum!

if you’re looking for a good English aromatic check out the country squire! They’ve got a blend called northwest trek that has good helping of Latakia and some maple flavor.

They have another blend called Hunting Creek that is maybe more English leaning than the northwest, but also has some nice aromatic flavoring to it, that one has been a room note crowd pleaser when I smoke it near others.

Interesting original post. The six or eight aromatics I enjoy from time to time are notably not strong, mostly in the mild, or a few in the medium category. Maybe it is a prejudice on my part, but it seems like the good joining of tobacco and flavorings tend not to be strong. However, I am interested in the nominees here which provide a different way of looking at it.

2 that come to mind for me are both made by Sutliff. Mocha strips- a VaBur flake aromatic flavored with coffee and chocolate, but for the life of me, all I taste is raspberry and vanilla. Second is Voodoo Queen- an English crossover aromatic, made from mocha strips with the addition of latakia and perique. This one has the mild chocolate/coffee taste without raspberry, but added smoke/cream flavors from the latakia, and a prune/pepper from the perique.

Based on selective criteria from Tobacccoreviews dot com (which leaves out a significant number of "aromatic" Englishes, simply because people refuse to accept that they're in fact aromatic):

I whittled the list down to things that aren't above-average in difficulty to find or ship to the USA.
I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for but somehow my first impulse as a guess is that the "XXX Blend" from Moonshine Pipe would be a place to start.

Samuel Gawith Firedance Flake is pretty flavor forward, and there's great tobacco flavor there too. I believe it uses SG Best Brown as a base, so you're getting top quality Virginias.

The flavor is just like it smells which is blackberry and brandy.

Strong in what way? Nicotine? Aroma? Flavor?

One of the strongest "aromatic" flavored blends I have is Devil's Holiday. The berry component it has is very noticeable.

I would say strong in both nicotine and flavor, most aromatics I have tried have almost a washed out taste like weak tobacco and have very little nicotine that I notice

Is it possible you are trying to keep a woman happy? If so two you want is Cult Blood Red Moon and Sutliff Molto Dolce. The Cult is a cherry/chocolate type thing . The Nolto is vanilla and Caramel and the flavor is great if your in the moon. Don't worry about the snap pop and crack while smoking Molto, it is free of charge. I pull out either one when I need the place to sell great.

Whether or not a blend can be labelled an aromatic is a matter of endless discussion. I enjoy some strong blends that are tobacco forward, but also have an aromatic topping.
Royal Yacht is flavored with a plum essence, Irish Flake has aniseed and perhaps some liquorice, Perfect Plug has plum or some other fruity essence added, 1792 Flake has tonquin.
All of these are in the strong category and may be called aromatics as well, even though the strong tobaccos are the main players.
