My evening smoke on the patio has been interrupted. My wife noticed an object in the sky. To the naked eye it looks like a small full moon. With 10X binoculars it appears to be a balloon. It is an inverted teardrop shape similar to a hot air balloon with no basket. It is iridescent white with the sun shining on it. It is not quite dusk yet and the sun just went down. The strange part about it is it hasn’t appeared to move in about a half an hour. Does this sound consistent with a weather balloon?

Edit: Mystery solved. The wife found this on the web. I was too busy smoking my pipe.

It’s still just hanging there.

On one of my nighttime walks around the neighborhood, I ran into this guy, who turned out to be a Martian dressed up as a German soccer player from the 1970s. He told me he was looking for a 24-hour flying saucer repair garage, because his flying saucer had a hydraulic oil leak in the directional. system. 61jPirhyd7L._SL1003_.jpg

No wonder his system is leaking... Everyone knows that torsion field powered systems are much superior to the ancient hydraulic ones.

This is going to sound like I am an idiot who doesn't pay attention, but...
About a year ago I was standing out in our yard with some new baby goats. It must have been near Winter because it was around 6:30 PM EST, and it was dark out.
Looking up I saw hundreds of alien ships moving along in single file, equally spaced!!
From horizon to horizon, a line of tiny lights moving across the sky.
I KNEW we were done for!!!

Turns out it was just Starlink satellites.
I found out online when they would pass by again the next night, and messed with my wifes head. :)

That was exactly what I saw one night from my balcony in southeastern Spain. I had no idea what that space company was. I swear I didn't drink anything that night, and I had my glasses on. I thought Christmas had come early.
