I just ordered some tabac from SP, among which is one oz of stoved Va. I wanted to see what is was, not familiar with it. I jarred most of it and left a little out to smoke. This is shag cut and black, don't remember seeing a tobacco like this before. My question is : would this respond to aging, or would the stoving process have affected the sugars, such that there is no point in aging ?? I gather this is mostly just used for blending, yes ? (Yeah I know it's only an ounce, but hey just getting to know it ). Any info appreciated.
