Medicine vials are not perfectly moisture proof. I stored some photo chemicals in one once, and regretted it. Turned to a solid mass.
Great observation! My thought too--until I realized apparently few here carry "their tobacco." It's "their tobaccos," plural. This is a connoisseur's site, not a friggin' logging camp or oil tanker.
How do you like your burley flake, crunchy or smooth?I've found that plastic peanut butter jars will keep tobacco fresh for years. tip: wash them out first.
Your right!I use a leather pouch. It works great. Fits in the pocket or backpack perfectly. Pill bottles I feel would look too shady and could lead to annoy situations like having a cop poking around in your tobacco while asking you crazy questions about what you got.
That's a great amount! Awesome thanks!11 grams of fairly dry Carter Hall.
I dumped my whole pouch on a tray to dry over night when I first opened it.
I'd say 4-5 bowls that are 0.75"x1.5"

Not me. But I smoke only at home. I guess if I want to take tobacco on the road, I'd get one of these:Does any one else use empty pill bottles to hold their tobacco? i have done this when i used to ryo cig's. before any one says something about pills bottles smelling like pill's, ime and my wife go through at least 100 of them every year, and they get washed and air dryed for at least 2 months.( never had any "pill" taste)
ORDERED! I have been looking for these. Thanks! Not me. But I smoke only at home. I guess if I want to take tobacco on the road, I'd get one of these:
For short term purposes, I would think a pouch would do just fine. For the weekend, one might need more.My thought too--until I realized apparently few here carry "their tobacco." It's "their tobaccos," plural. This is a connoisseur's site, not a friggin' logging camp or oil tanker.
