the new Sherlock Holmes Series shapes in Meerschaum..., not sure if that's

1.Reply to hobiedog,no it is not a house pipe it is shape XL24,same as the Sherlock Holmes'Milverton'.

2.Reply to lordofthepiperings,I would expect that these will retail at same as current Sherlock series. ie around $200.

3.Reply to Fred,I might have known you would be interested in that question Fred LOL.If I was a betting man I would put money on them being issued as Meers.However as far as time scale you know as well as I do that their sourcing of quality Meer material might put them on the back burner.

A good friend of mine in Arizona sold all of his Sherlock Holmes pipes on ebay for about $100 each. Of course, he told me after he sold them. I wanted to brain him.

That POY panel volcano and the reserve look like a sweet combination--I'm a huge fan of Pete's tobaccos and pipes, and for them to combine them with another of my pastimes, chess, is just...well, i'm gonna go broke. woohoo!

I know the article said the Special Reserve 2011 would be out in May, but is there any more of a specific date for online retailers to start selling it here in North America?
