Neither are the flavoring agents used in Lakelands or the smoke used to flavor Latakia.

true yes but those are oils the deertongue in crooner is actually plant matter, and a significant percentage of the blend

Very little deetongue is used in blends, or it would overpower everything else.

Opened the jar, and only two flecks of deetongue on top. It's used sparingly so as to not sublimate the flavor of the tobacco.

Have to smoke it really slow. It always gave me an apple/cinnamon sort of thing.

Between the Heart of Alabama and Hot Springs NC
Woods, those pipes look more like something else when horribly wrong, than just a ghost. Ha ha. But yes, ghosting is real. But, mostly it takes more than just a few bowls of something to really set a ghost in. And, if you really hated the scent of something, you probably don't want to taste even a hint of it in the next few pipefulls of a blend you do like. So, some pipes just get crushed under a boot heal. :puffy:
