I have a bit squirrelled away and I maybe smoke it twice a year, watch out tho, it ghosts pipes like a boss.

I have to confide that I prefer Stonehaven over Penzance. The latter leaves an oily taste in my mouth, although not totally unpleasent.
Stonehaven, on the otherhand, is pure tobacco goodness.
Lately, its been hard to come by. I keep thinking with all the Penzance dribbling in it would show up sooner or later.

I've yet to be successful in getting this blend to perform for me. After trying different Pipes, different moisture contents, smoking it in the slice, cubed and rubbed out, all I can get is a rather mediocre taste and an elusive character of flavor. It's just not for me...

I've only had 2 bowls worth, just need to try it again to fully come to terms with it....I am just a fan of the Esoterica blends in general...good stuff for sure.

You're not wrong Fred, it's a really really finicky tobacco.
