Stone Carvings

I recently posted a thread regarding a stone carving of man with a pipe. Some favourable comments about stone carvings led me to post these interesting stone carving pictures. All of them are found on Canada's Parliament buildings. The Peace Tower alone has over 370 stone carvings. This first picture depicts a man with a pipe and an indigenous person. I suspect the man with a pipe is a voyageur.

Dunno what it is about those dwarves but our own (old) Saskatchewan Wheat Pool building sports them too:

Any idea how old the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool building is? The floral carvings are similar to some of those on the parliament buildings IMO.

It apparently got a face-lift back in AD 2015. I was going through my archives to see if I had pics of that but no, I don't.

However, it turns out that a year after I took the ones posted above, I did manage to get one of one of the dwarfs:

I love old architecture. I used to live in New York City where carvings (or castings) like these were commonplace.
