Stokkebye Peaches & Cream Review

I absolutely love this blend. it is light, airy, flavorful and actually smells like peaches. I have tried aromatics that do not taste nor smell like what they said it would. This blend hits its mark 110%. If you like aromatics and haven't tried this blend, it needs to be at the top of your list. Not too sweet, no spice.. just perfect.

Thanks for the share Nightshayde. Even with my recent forays into codger Burley blends....I'll always be an unreconstucted aro man at heart. I'll give this blend a peek for the Spring.

Interesting ... The name sounds repulsive to me so I can't see myself ever trying such a blend. However, my guilty pleasure is P Stokkebye Optimum which provides a nice sweet peach flavor. Go figure. Maybe I should open my mind a little to more of these weird ass aromatics. I tried Optimum on the recommendation of the proprietor of a tobacco/liquor/porn/chocolate shop in Eureka, CA who claimed it is his best selling blend. He gave me a free sample and I bought a few ounces next time I was there. I keep the jar on the shelf with my favorite blends mostly just so I can open it and smell it while selecting something I smoke more regularly. Fantastic tin/jar note with that one.

You won't be disappointed. I would like to say that at this point I feel it may be more of an autumn smoke than a spring/summer smoke. But I could be wrong.. I will find out in a few months

It's about the journey... that is why i only buy 1-2oz of things I am unfamiliar with.

Here's my two cents on peach tobacco.
Although I'm not a big aro smoker, a few years ago I tried Sutliff "Taste of Summer", a peach flavored blend. For me it didn't have enough tobacco flavor present. I happened to have one of my favorite flake tobaccos jarred up, McClelland #25 "English Cavendish". It's a blend of cavendish, virginia, and orientals. I know, doesn't sound very English right? There is said to be no toppings or casings in this, but the overall taste I found was like spiced peaches, probably from the Xanthi oriental leaf in it. I remember these spiced peaches from my childhood that my mother had canned, and the flavor was quite similar, only much more subtle. When I mixed this with the peachy Taste of Summer about 50/50 I found it to be a very enjoyable smoke that was somewhat aromatic, but with a definite tobacco foundation. English Cavendish never got much attention, or liked for that matter, so one might be able to find this for sale from someone or somewhere. The spiced peaches however are still available in stores. Apologies for going a little off topic. ?

I will be on the lookout for that blend. i am intrigued. I am married to a McClelland which is related to the whiskey and tobacco maker.
