I am still new to pipe smoking, and I am slowly trying some different tobaccos. I have tried several English blends and I enjoy them, but today I picked up something a little different. I bought the Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake at my local B&M. This is really different. I didn't really know anything about it, except the store had it on a shelf where they keep the non-aromatics. When I got home I read just a little about it and found out it is in the VaPer category. It was such a nice, light smoke. It burns well and I enjoyed the lightness of it, not heavy at all. I feel like I could easily smoke a few bowls of this each day. My question is, is this a typical/good example of a VaPer blend? If it is, I want to try more.

VaPers smoke quite a bit differently from English blends and you will not want to smoke them out of the same pipes. You will taste a lot of Latakia even tho' there isn't any in these blends if you use the same pipes. They normally require you to smoke the pipe a little slower and with less intensity because of the sugars in these blends will naturally burn hotter. LNF is a superb tobacco that will open up the world ot VaPers to you if you take your time with it.

Thank you for the tip about the pipe, I had not even considered it. I happened to use a pipe that has very little use and I think it worked out. I enjoyed the smoke, the flavor was consistent through the entire bowl, and a refreshing change of pace.
