Anyone fans of this? I think it's insanely good and I don't smoke a lot of burley even. Delish!

I used to smoke a LOT of it at work before retiring. It's got a lot going for it: cheap, tastes great, works well indoors and out, the aroma is inoffensive verging on pleasant when around others, ages well, and it's great in a cob!

I have found it can be nippy if smoked too quickly. And it is a unique cut: takes a while to adapt to it.

My first real go at pipe tobacco, all the while obtaining and tasting as many blends, and presentations as possible was SWR, a codger burley which is mostly a cube cut. I liked its flavor, its moisture out of the tub, its tub note, and its cut Made for easy loading.
Nowadays, I'm still obtaining and tasting new blends to me, and one I've tried both from Lanes and from Sutliff is their copies of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed. The Sutliff Match I have currently is almost pelletized. Could even do with some further rubbing, or at least a little breathing time before burning.
A nice slow burning burley blend and a cuppa black fresh ground coffee works really well.

It's a nice codger feeling smoke. I have a pound or more in the cellar. It's a fun cut to work with and it tastes pretty good too. In fact, I might have to pull some out for fishing season.

I got a very generous sample of it two years ago from my Secret Santa and really enjoyed it. I've got a couple bowls of it left that I need to get around to smoking. I'm a big fan of cube cut burley blends.
