Here is the second pipe that I have made while stationed here in Afghanistan. I am refining my skills and getting beter. This pipe was commissioned by my Commander she wanted a girly pipe and wanted it pink as well. It turned out really well did not want to give it up even though it was pink lol. Please give me some feed back. I want to continue mastering this skill and any advise will help. Thank you -Jerry

Awesome work. If I hadn't blown my PAD for the next couple months I might have inquired about you selling it... 8)

That's pretty damn sweet. It didn't look pink in the pictures to me.
Maybe under the right light it'll pinken up. Keep em coming!

Wow that is fantastic. I'm curious on the finish as well. I remember I was told that leather dyes work great and if you use a really dark one first and then sand, the grain will pop when you put on a lighter coat at the end.

I really didn't see anything "girly" about that pipe. Looks great for a 2nd try. Wish I had the time to develop that skill set.

That is a pretty good looking pipe.
A friend of mine is on his flight to do a year's tour in Afghanistan right now ... he told me which station but I forget now. He's going to be teaching Afghans how to fly Cessnas.
