The decisions of capitalist bean counters at the top never have anything to do with the people performing the real labor on the factory floors. Of course it wasn't a failure on their part. Are they going to be given adequate severances or other compensation for having their lives scrambled due to something that was no failure on their part?
If it wasn’t for the capitalist bean counters, none of the tobacco producers would exist. They are the ones who make the company profitable and viable.

Just fuck off. Really take the train to fuck off avenue.
Leonard is, and has always been a decent and honorable guy who loves pipes and tobacco.
The fact that he’s here to talk should be applauded, don’t forget that his life is getting upended.
So Leonard, thanks for the post, and you pissant whiny bitches who want to cry because whatever just again, fuck off.

Then MillennialCodger:

Nah I'm good. You can if youd like you fucking bootlicking bitch.
Steady on, chaps! Can't you take this outside and settle it like gentlemen?

Leonardw - were you/are your privy to the decision making that went into the reported decision to scrap the machinery at the Sutliff factory rather than sell it intact? Many on here have surmised that it's simply cheaper to do so. Others suspect it's to prevent other companies from utilizing the equipment (effectively protecting a moat in other words).
I'm pretty in the loop on all this stuff, and the only place I've heard anything about equipment is from the forums. Correction: Sutliff has and extremely old cutter on display in their foyer, and we've talked about making sure that finds a home so it will be preserved.

Yeah as far as I can see that was a *bit* hysterical. Have they been discontinued from SP's site? Yes. but most are still in stock (for more $ ofc) on P&C right now. Now will they continue to be or not? That was my question. Apparently Leonard says we just have to wait for the list for now...
To me that means they’re discontinued, because I’ll NEVER spend a penny at P&C.
