Sparrow, smoking wise I would be willing to bet you will love it. My lone Downie smokes as good as any pipe in my rack including my beloved Rad's. Stephen's stem work is awesome, great clencher and I am pretty sure his shank dimension is around 4.3-4.5 which is a nice open draw. If I had my Downie stem in one side and a Rad stem in the other, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
