I have those leather strap holders everywhere, desk, patio, workshop, all my pipe bags. They fold up nicely for travel and work like a charm. I bought one, made the rest from old belts and some hardware from Tandy Leather. I even made a few from screw-rivets from Lowes.

Love the stands made from scrap leather belts, especially the Mr. Brog design, which can easily be converted back into a flat piece of leather for easy carrying and storage. Yep, gonna order some 8 -10 oz. strapping. Problem solved.
