There's a reason we haven't seen a lot of stainless steel bowl lined pipes for smoking tobacco. It took a couple hundred years for the French to commercialize briar, and for the English, Irish, Danish, and U.S. to follow suite.

The old 'The Pipe' from to 60's or 70's had aluminum bowls with a coating (If I remember correctly)). I've got one I use as a taster, as it doesn't hold flavors. They didn't catch on and I doubt these will either, but ya gotta love the spirit that keeps trying.

I may be wrong but I seem to remember "The Pipe" was made of some kind of space age ceramic. I tried one and got rid of it. Went back to my Castellos. puffy
