Staining a corn cob

I recently took some leather shoe dye and took it to the cob with a nice glaze to finish it off. Tell me what you think['img]

Nope. It's the same stuff most carvers use to stain briar.

No, smoking from that won't release any fumes. Even if he had used conventional stain so long as he A:let it sit for a couple days before smoking and B: pre-heated it in an oven to wear off any excess, he should be fine.
