Here are the first pictures of my St. Patrick's day pipe.

In honour of the day I used a green stem and gave the bowl a shape similar to a celtic harp.

I didn't stain the briar, I just polished it with carnauba wax.

I'm glad you left it untouched. Beautiful pipe. I love the "swale" in the lip of the bowl as it seems to complete the flow of the design.

Stunning work. I agree with the others about leaving it unstained. It's be a shame to hide that grain. Enjoy and let's see more of your work.
