SSD or HDD For Archiving Music: Advice Please.

You need redundancy, do not rely on a single system. I do have a large multimedia collection spanning multiple Tb I am keeping in a NAS and from there I rotate 5 backup on HDD which I keep in different physical location in different houses. Other files and data I keep in SSD that I backup in the NAS. But definitely you need multiple backups kept in multiple places otherwise sooner or later everything will be lost.
