My former neighbor when I lived a couple of miles from the Appalachian Trail in the Blue Ridge Mountains of the US (I prefer NOT to name the town/state so I don't infer any disrespect AND I REALLY LOVED that part of this country!) some years ago, would offer this advice--when I wasn't busy dressing in his vintage uniform for weekend retreats that pretended/purported to reenact battles (from what he called, "The War of Northern Aggression"):

Just make sure you don't have any qualms or get picky about dating one of you sisters.

I'd call 911 if a hoe was down. A down hoe is no reason for dancing, square or round.

I've wanted to try Square Dancing since I was a teenager and saw the film Footloose but being from the North East I always felt a bit shy about "cutting the hay".

I had trouble finding the exact scene on YouTube but you can just enjoy this one!

I think they have support groups for that. I mean clubs. Seriously maybe call a local dance studio they could at least point you in the right direction.

Dance was a part of physical education when I was in elementary school back in old country. A lot of European folk dance where we line up and do that patty cake crap. Even they didn't go down to square dance level.
