Springtime Deep Cleaning

It’s that time again to do a deep clean. I’m using Brian Levine’s method: Everclear and bristle pipe cleaners to clean out the stem, mortise, and shank.

Excluding estate pipes, I never use alcohol. I thoroughly clean them after each use so deep cleaning is unnecessary.

Try a hot water flush, brushing with an old toothbrush, and then rimming the bowl getting all the tar buildup out, down to wood. Dry for a day, your next smoke will be caviar!
