Well Lawrence I'm a KC Chiefs fan (Despite living in Cowboy country) and your Bama is my Raiders. Even though both teams have recently suuuuuucked...I still hate them with all my soul. I'd root against them if they were playing a team coached by Hitler and with Satan himself starting at QB.

Hey Guys,

How many "Cow Pasture Pool" players do we have in here.

I know there are a couple of others.

My handicap is ... well... I own golf clubs. :)

I'm one of those "better lucky than good" players.

But I keep it in the low 90's, and yes I do watch the golf channel.

Best game ever, was at the Pearl Harbor Golf Course...68.

I holed out 3 times from the fairway. (Must have been holding my mouth just right that day.) My buddy and I were Corporals (USMC), we were paired with 2 Navy Captains. We had to whip them.... after all it was Squid vs. Jar Head thing, not to mention Enlisted vs. Officer thing.

Pistol, I grew up as a Bama fan, but all of my friends went to Auburn. So, I can't tell you how many keg parties and games I went to at Auburn. I saw Bo Jackson play several games there. He was a great one.

Hey Bo knows just about everything.
I went to the first night baseball game @ Georgia.

My cousins are big Bulldog fans, and they had tickets.

Bo Jackson hit a homer in that game and smashed one of those brand new lights.

It was great!
It was typical Bo Jackson.

Speak up Sapo.... I can't hear you over all the Auburn Fans.
Do they have a team up there in Tennessee? :)
Sapo please forgive this old joke:
What are the three reasons the Volunteers wear yellow jersey's?
Nah... I ain't gonna Pi** you off..... :)
I pull for any SEC team (except UK) when they are playing out of the conference.

I even.... (save me) pull for Bama when they aren't playing Auburn.

Reds got a spot in The Wall Street Journal today about them being this years "it" team. It had to have been written prior to them blowing a 7 run lead in the bottom of the 9th to lose off a game winning grandslam hit by some pinch hitter with 5 career home runs...

WGN radio talk show host Bob Collins asked Shaquille O'Neal if he had visited the Acropolis on a recent trip to Greece. Shaq replied, "I dunno man, we went to so many bars I lost track." (That was a number of years ago, but at the time he was earning $16 million a year.)

I don't really watch sports much myself. I used to love boxing, but since the UFC started I haven't watched much boxing either. UFC is the only sport that I watch on a regular basis.

Me, my wife, and 2 sons are huge boxing fans. We like the Klitcho brothers, and Mikkel Kessler.

I love to play Mick.

But, I rarely have the opportunity anymore.

I'm a better lucky than good golfer these days.

I used to be fairly decent.

I have made a hole in one and one double eagle.

The Ace was a fluke...

I tee'd off on a par 3 and toed the ball.

It went straight out at a right angle to the hole, hit a rock wall and bounce parallel to the fairway, then bounce on the rock wall again... rolled up on the green and into the cup.

Like I said "Better lucky than good."
:)

Gios, you are by default "probably" the best (Pardon the colloquialism) Cow Pasture Pool player here. Since I usually shoot in the low 90's and, am not a long ball driver (approx. 225 w/tail wind); Just how important do you think it is that I include a "high-tech" driver in the bag? (I know I am not too specific, but an honest opinion would be appreciated.) I watch the Golf Fix and using his tips I have added that 25 yds.

I'm a big fan of golf myself. Grew up watching it and going to the practice rounds of the TPC since I live in Jacksonville. When I get the chance I love to go play a few holes. Ive only been able to do a max of 6 to 9 holes an outing this last year or so but hope to get out for a full session this summer.
