For me, although the product is certainly functional and looks very classy, for your asking price, I can purchase a new pipe and a tin of tobacco (and a couple of plastic or metal rests) - even at our ridiculous Canadian prices. Conversely, I can go on E-bay, drop $60, and pick up an antique stand that will hold several of my smokers.
Now that isn't to say that with some adjustments to your marketing strategy, you can't carve out a niche. As tobacco is driven out of homes and offices, you may find the "Bowsprit" easier to market - as has been suggested, add some videos showing the versitility of the design. Find some people to take 'em marlin fishing, pounding through the waves on a speed-boat, and sailing. Show 'em in a sports-car in high-G turns, banging through pot-holes on dirt roads, and rock-crawling. Show 'em in golf-carts and at the beach (it's marine grade, after all!)...basically, make people see that they need one of these to make (insert hobby) here easier and more enjoyable.

I haven't seen one in person. I'll echo others concerns about adding more pictures and video with pipes in them. One constructive criticism concerns with the construction. Are the rods made from wood? For the price, could you do them in brass or aluminum? It would not only up the perceived value quality image on the Executive, but also the perceived durability on the Bowspirit where with a mobile unit, durability is important. You also may want to consider 2 designs for the Bowspirit, one that lays the pipe down more for straight pipes. Again, not having seen one in person or a pipe in one, it seems like the one you have would be great for bents but for straights, I'd like the pipe to lay flat for security purposes.

Had a buddy of mine, Viet Nam vet, got disabled and low on funds. He had some wordworking tools and some skills and started making small boxes of various sizes. Everything from jewelry box size down to something on the order of a pack of cigs size. He made them very well, and out of various "exotic" woods, stained really nice, etc.
He spent a lot of money on the wood, and the rest was just labor and overhead. He wanted to sell those boxes for $30-40 for the small ones on up. And, each one was worth what he was asking for. Only nobody wanted to buy a $40 wooden box.
I ended up buying about 5 of them for ~$200 and giving them to my mother for Christmas.
He doesn't make boxes anymore.

I have looked at your site and both the site and the product look good to me. Keep in mind I'm a real laid back consumer, too, so I won't be as picky as some others may be. I like the look of your product and in the days before child support and short term disability I'd be buying one or both. As times are tough, can't even go buy sugar for my sweet tea (know what that does to a southern boy??) and certainly can't buy more tobacco for my pipe, I just can't buy your product. Fortunately, in a week I'll be able to get sugar and tobacco (now I just need a horse and bedroll). Once back at work I may be able to purchase one. I like to support businesses that hand craft goods and aren't mega conglomerations. As this would be a luxury item it may be a while before I can give you my little bit of business.
