For me it got a lot easier as time went on. I realized I was suffering paralysis by analysis. It sounds like you might be as well. Spoiled for choice is a great thing, if you can use it. Otherwise it's a hindrance. The odds of you getting a bad pipe are low. I can tell, you've looked into it.

Get the one that first caught your eye. Get that Peacemaker with the meerschaum bowl. You'll smoke it more because you like it more.
