Hoping for a real competitive fight. Naturally each of the fighters is hoping for a quick K.O. As long as they are punching it should be a good show.
I think both are going to end up having some kind of spiritual awakening turning them into hardcore peaceniks. Probably not but the very slim chance means if I am right it will look like I have big amazing insight. Or in other words I have no clue.
Spence has the better resume in my opinion and had also seen more adversity in his career. I expect a Spence win by split decision. There is a rematch clause, so regardless they will do it again.

I did not see that coming. Crawford made Spence look amateur. Great counter punching and a stiff jab all night.
Spence was flailing from the first round on. He was off balance constantly and couldn't land many punches that mattered. The Spence corner didn't have a backup plan. I'd have had him lay off the attack from round 4 on. Make Crawford come to you and try to win some rounds on points. I guess we will see what happens in the rematch.

He absolutely battered him. I didn't see it being so one-sided either. They need to stop with these rematch clauses, this one is no way worthy of one. Spence could end up being seriously hurt. Felt so bad for him.
No gloves would be great way to see boxing, but somebody would be getting killed in just about every fight.
There are lots of videos on YouTube of bare knuckle. Not sure one could call it a sport, but to each their own I guess.
Fun to watch, not so fun to live through. I had a friend who was good, but after he won his first fight, he had a reckoning. If he felt that bad physically after winning, what would it be to lose a fight?

After seeing what a career did to Muhammed Ali who was a champion and made multiple come-backs and a heroic standoff with Parkinsons, it's hard to imagine what people would see in a more injurious bare fisted sport. It's dangerous to the fighters. Possibly much more dangerous to the spectators' minds.
Whenever I pass the grave marker of The Greatest I always loathe how they stole the best years of his career. Who knows what we as fans missed in those 3 years.
