SP forced priority shipping?

Ordered a tin of each of the C&D release today and the site wouldn’t let me select anything but priority shipping. Did anyone else experience this? Is this normal? I don’t order enough from them to know. Thanks for any answers.

Just checked for myself and it gave me 3 options. Where are you located? Also, SP customer service is very responsive so feel free to reach out if you have a concern.

Oregon. I was given three options too but only the priority would work

Email them. I have heard from others that they had the same issue and SP customer service was quick to reverse the charge.

I got the cheapest shipping, whatever that is.

Cheapest shipping is great. Personally I still remember having send a card and check to a place and then wait so long you forgot you ordered it months ago. Allow three to four weeks for shipping and handling.

Not me, I took the "ground advantage" which was the cheapest for me. I'm in no rush.

I don’t think I have ever paid for shipping with SP. I’m a sucker for the $95 free shipping threshold.

Yes, this happened to me at least twice this winter with smallbatch orders. It's annoying. The first time I was snowboarding (I enjoy a pipe on chairlifts) and it turned into a 20 minute ordeal. Only choice was expensive shipping over and over. My buddy did not have a problem. He was placing an order at the same time.

I emailed them and the shipping cost was corrected.

That happened to me on my last order, but the difference was only ~$.50 so I just let it slide.
When I ordered yesterday & selected standard shipping it buffered for a while, but I chalked it up to the volume their site being overwhelmed.
