Yes, but not many B&M's get much Eso if any and they will generally hold it back for longtime and good customers. If you have a local B&M that gets it and if you've bought from them over the years, then yes I would reach out to them. That's a lot of if's though.

They got a drop. I saw a couple of people who got some Margate. Not sure what the full drop was.

That’s why I, and others, have for years, counseled people to form connections with B&Ms.

Once I did that, finding and getting what I wanted was easy. And the nearest B&M to me was 1000 miles away. LA is a pipe tobacco desert, as is Southern Oregon.

I have never paid more than normal retail and no longer have to search for it. I’m set, and so can be anyone else.

One of the small benefits of living a little over one state away from SP-- My small C&D sale order has already arrived!

I didn't order much, because I'm pretty well cellared as is. but I did order reloads on a couple of favorites (Bow-Legged Bear, Tuskegee Airman) plus three C&D blends I've never tried-- Strathspey, Engine #382 (yes, I'm one of those weirdos that likes deertongue) and Atlas Balkan.

I second this thought. If I really, really wanted some Esoterica and Germains but didn’t have a B&M close by I would be creating a relationship with other B&Ms. I’m talking about finding out who the key workers/managers are, what they like to smoke, hobbies and interests, do they have kids, etc. Send them tobacco, cigars, gifts, food, etc. Hand written notes to go along. This may sound like more trouble than it’s worth but if I want something I work for it.

With all that being said I understand the frustration as well.
