I thought this story quite hilarious. It reminded me of when my father discovered my porn stash at age 15 and him calling me a pervert and a degenerate as he tore them up and threw them on the fire.

Perhaps I should sue his estate for my loss? Those old Mayfair & Penthouse mags are worth a fortune now......or so I'm told ?

My son could have made millions suing me for destroying his bongs over the years.

Ok, so he left the "collection" at his parents house for over a year and a half after he moved out, at 42, after a divorce, when he moved in for a little less than a year. If one of my adult kids left a pile of crap that I told them to remove from my house for a year and a half, it'd be gone too. I don't see the litigable issue here.

No need nowadays to keep a stash of dvd and tapes like that. Everything is on the internet mostly free, or you could save it all on an external harddrive you could fit in your back pocket.

Long gone are the days of stumbling upon a treasure trove of nudie mags in the woods.
Gives new meaning to the term hard drive.

That's a lot of money to be destroyed. Especially if any of it's collectable which with a collection like that I am sure there is. Imagine if someone did that with some of your pipes. And if it can go that far in court then there where some big dollar pipes in that collection. In my mind if anyone is being whack it's the parents.
