There's only a handful of folks here with my real name and address, not the pseudonyms and P.O. Boxes I use for ordering. I think I may know who did it I'm just waiting for the guilty party to chime in.Someone's really following you.![]()
I'll be around until my doctor's predictions come to fruition but actually smoking pipes is in my rear view.We all are embers, we all are. Despite the Squibbles and squabbles and bad days, it’s still a nice place and embers is an important part of it. One of my favorites on here!
If you don’t mind my asking, are you having health challenges or are you just referring to when your doctor says “if you don’t quit, you’re going to…”?I'll be around until my doctor's predictions come to fruition but actually smoking pipes is in my rear view.
So, I take it you have or will sell that 400+ pound cellar of yours?I'll be around until my doctor's predictions come to fruition but actually smoking pipes is in my rear view.
YesIf you don’t mind my asking, are you having health challenges
Nothing smoking related, but hereditary. I've left pipes for RYO and chewing tobacco.are you just referring to when your doctor says “if you don’t quit, you’re going to…”?
Much of it has been converted to RYO, snuff, and chew. Whatever's left when I'm gone will just be tossed. So, I take it you have or will sell that 400+ pound cellar of yours?![]()
The classic teardrop lattice. My favorite finish for meerschaum. The pattern on the one on the right looks very similar to the one I just picked up.
They are extremely nice collectibles but I've no intention of starting back. I do very much appreciate the gesture though. I'm considering letting my youngest daughter use them in her shadow box hobby.
Your comment on the lattice teardrop sounds like the "siren's call" is ringing in your ears. They are extremely nice collectibles but I've no intention of starting back. I do very much appreciate the gesture though. I'm considering letting my youngest daughter use them in her shadow box hobby.
I had a few of them even a couple of hollow ones. I never really liked smooth pipes and preferred sandblasted briar and teardrop lattice meerschaums. I haven't smoked a pipe since March and really feel no inclination to do so. I've got a feeling that my daughter is going to work some magic using them in her art.Your comment on the lattice teardrop sounds like the "siren's call" is ringing in your ears.
Praying for you Embers ! ... because it works !
