Somebody Knows This Lighter?

I saw this lighter at at a thrift shop. Does anyone knows if it is an old object or just a chinese junk?

I have one and mine is pretty much junk. Is there a tamper attached to the stem inside the shank?

Yup, that has got "Made In China Rubbish" written all over it so steer well clear.
