Uhh well sometimes google can't tell ya specific stuff plus this forum has professional pipe smokers and tabbaco growers who have years of experience plus its mutch more efficient on here. And I'm not sure if your comment is negative or positive?
I'm sorry, my post must have come off funny, especially since I didn't quote any member here, or even try to explain. hahaha.

One of my pet peeves is telling new members to "Google it". If they did that, most of the magic of this forum would go away.

Yes we see repeat questions, but I think that's expected.

You and me are saying the same thing. Lol

Cosmic's answer is usually 'the right one'. In this case again, it is.
Here's one man's approach and a very large archive of refurbishments.
I've cleaned up a bunch of ebay acquisitions over the last 10 yrs. I have had successes and a few failures.
I keep a Butner stainless steel reamer on hand for when a bowl gets a little too caked up to my liking, and all sorts of sandpaper and mircomesh pads, pipe cleaners, tea candles, and on and on. You putter with 'em once in awhile to keep 'em going.

The best way to clean your pipe is with rubbing alcohol and salt—just shake it in a bag, rinse, and you're good! You can also soak it in hot water, use baking soda & vinegar, or scrub with pipe cleaners. Just make sure to rinse well and let it dry. Easy and done!

I wanna clean up some of my pipes can you guys give me any tips?

I'm scared to soak it in hot water as it may damage the pipe.
