I'm spending too much time here lately! I just added a few more pics to my album. I'll post more when I can. I hope you enjoy them, some are of pipes I've made and some of pipes I've had for years.

You have to prove your point when it comes to Castellos and send us all one from your secret pipeshop-owning stash. ;)

How dare you start such a thread searock.
You are BANNED! Expect a nasty email any minute too!
LOL.
Anytime I'm feeling down, I think I will come and read this thread.
I am humbled by all the kind words. Thanks so much searock and everyone else.
I'm not really a pipe or tobacco expert. I just play one on the Internet. Bob knows waaay more than me, and so does Lawrence, and probably half the other guys here know more than I do too.
We try to maintain professionalism and maturity while still having fun and keeping things friendly.
I just don't know any other way to do things.
I really don't understand why some people create forums and act like Nazis.
One of the good and bad things about the Internet is the low barrier to entry.
Just about anyone can have a forum up and running within 1 hour of deciding to do so.
It's almost like being a parent. There are no tests you have to pass, and no licenses required. Anyone can be a parent and anyone can be a forum or website owner.
Not to sound fraternal and appoint myself the head of a new pipe smoking cult, but there are good parents and bad parents.
Some people shouldn't have kids, and some people shouldn't have websites.
You guys all make this site what it is and I thank you.

Searock, the reason you find the people here so affable is that they are all fictitious characters manufactured by Kevin and myself. You, Kevin and I are the only three people online here, and Kevin and I take turns logging on under aliases. We're bending over backwards to make you feel comfortable, but it can only go on so long as you support all the site sponsors -- heavily. Otherwise, we'll be forced to "moderate" you.

Like Kevin said,

This in all seriousness is a fun place. Kn0owledge is freely shared. The only similar forum that I have been on in terms of good manners and friendly discussion has been one for blacksmiths.
