Yeah I knew that about Segal as well...he's supposed to be the real deal. It must be over 20 years now since I last saw one of his movies though. He made a few decent ones back then, but I sort of got tired of those kind of formulaic action movies. Every now and then one gets made that is good enough to transcend the genre, but those seem to be few and far between. But as I recall, you could tell he knew what he was doing in them.

Thanks for the vid, Brain64. Great actor or not you can here the steel ringing when it is supposed to. I love it when a guy from the movies actually know something about weapons. It is a drag watching morons turning pistols on there side to fire them.
"And, Philo, I didn't want to like Jack Reacher either. Cruise is a shrimp compared to the actual 6 foot five inch Reacher, but Cruise carried it off on personality alone and and making his character watchable. However, I have to admit, I've been a Cruise fan ever since I saw him in Taps in 1981. He chewed up every scene in that film and I've been a fan ever since."
+1 Fnord.
Dave G, it was a hoot to watch Segal keeping the hood in shape. Big guy and fast moves.
