Software? Website? Recommendations for documenting my collection?

I have a collection of some 125+ pipes, and I remember reading somewhere awhile ago about either specialized software or an offsite web address that you can use to create a documented listing of your pipe collection. Does anyone know of such a thing?

There used to be a great one called P&T Foundations from Pipes&Tobaccos magazine which was once a $25/year subscription cost, then later free with the magazine subscription but alas, it has been discontinued. This is shame since it was the perfect tool for the collector allowing you to log, photograph and describe each pipe, tobacco and assessory that is in your collection and it was both local and web based.
You can still run the software locally (on your pc) but the upload function (to the web host) no longer works. Looks like they stopped providing the software for download - such a shame.

I like the pipetool.com. There are still a few weird bugs but it works pretty well overall.

My recommendation:
Use the most generalized tool you can find with the maximum data portability.

I use an exotic system that was put out by Mead with support from Dixon-Ticonderoga, it hasn't crashed on me yet, fingers crossed!

I use pipetool for my Tobacco and the Mead/Dixon method for pipes. I just have a problem getting the information I want to archive about my pipes to fit into their template.

Wordpress looks like a good place to document your collection. My friend Troy has his own page for restoration blogs.

For sure, the blog is outstanding. It is one of my go-to sites for reference. I just don't have the patience to do something like that. Wish I could find a simple database. Oh well.

I use airtable.com to keep track of my tobacco, pipes, and a smoking log. It is similar to a spreadsheet, but much better. The free level has been plenty good for me.

Here is a partial screenshot of my tobacco inventory in Airtable. I have more columns of info than shown here.

You can make different "views" of the data to group by brand, type, storage location, etc, and sort or filter the data.
