I agree with the poster who said Jack is pretty much a bourbon and that it's great middle shelf stuff.
Old Forrester 100 proof is awesome.
Can't beat Evan Williams for the money. (and win, these days)

Oh mama is "our song" for me and my ladyfriend. I've corrupted her into quite enjoying Evan Williams Honey bourbon.

Woodford Reserve is my current favorite. However, I just tried some slow and low rock and rye - out of the bottle it's like an old fashioned.

used love knob creek. but used to be a single malt scotch whisky drinker. back in early 80's single malts were cheap! $20-30 a bottle. they were just widely being distributed. now, unless it's very special occasion, i don't feel like paying over $100 a bottle.

usually stick to rum.

I surely like some bourbons. I prefer my Scotch, but a good bourbon and water is enjoyable. Sadly, I cannot partake anymore due to medications. I allow myself one cheat a year, on my birthday.. That was the 6th so now I have to wait another year..
