Well, I suppose, but it still wouldn't make good business sense. But I can promise I'd have hated an English mixture at first, too, so I'm not starting any rumors.

OK puffers - its on like Donkey Kong. My 6 Pack of Captain Black White arrived today. Upon opening it, it didnt appear to be the goopy mess that I expected from all the negative comments. In fact, it doesnt look too different from my Boswells, McClellands, local blends. We'll have to see how it smokes tomorrow. I bought a MM Cob just for this tobacco so I dont mess up my other "kids".

Wow Zonomo bought 6 packs at once? Really diving in with both feet lol well I really do hope you enjoy it! Also you'll notice the goop after you smoke a bowl and trust me, give up on the last bit at the bottom, it will be so wet that there's no way it will stay lit.

My brother has smoked CB for years and loves it, I myself smoke aromatics, I prefer them to english, I know sick, but it's what I like. I smoke other tobaccos, and like different ones at different times. It's my choice. There are so many brands and types to try, why worry what others say. Life is way too short to worry what others say. Smoke what you like, but try many. Just my 2 cents worth. Regards, Sam ::

OK boys and girls - I'm 100% In with Captain Black White. I really like the stuff. Glad I ordered a sixer. It has good flavor to me, not burning overly hot. I'm enjoying it. It's not the cheapest stuff out there but I think I'll order it in bulk now. I guess this falls into the category of "To Each Is Own".. .. ::

I think the Captain gets a bad rep because it's available in every gas station and every convenience store (around here anyway). It's also the cheapest. So you can look at that two ways. 1) It can't be good because it's easy to get i.e. if I have to drive 45 minutes to a tobacconist - whatever I buy WILL be good, right? OR 2) The only reason it's easily available to the masses is because the retailer stocks it. They stock it because it sells. It sells because people buy it - so it obviously has a LARGE following.
I personally would rather order a large variety of bulk or tinned tobacco, just because I like trying different stuff. But if you like it, go for it!

I'm not sure that's true anymore Hunter. I bought a Sixer for $37 bucks. And each pouch is 1.5oz so I get 9 oz for $37. That seems a bit spendy to me.
