FYI - I paid $89 for the Strambach with free shipping. The Bauer I looked at was $199. Don't recall the sipping on it though.

For a pipe I intend to abuse I couldn't see anything wrong with the Strambach nor justify the AB price.

Awesome! I've been eyeing a Strambach for months but keep putting it off (they're a little spendy for me yet). I think it's the tenon that gives me pause, so I'll be anxious to hear what you think of the draw.
