Glad to hear you're still here. Definitely follow up with the doctors.

As a member of the "daily low dose aspirin for life" club I'd recommend finding the best hematologist you can.

There's a lot of hope when these things are caught in time.

I'm sending prayers and healing thoughts your way. You'll probably have to make some adjustments in habits and diet and such, to avoid further trouble, but you made it through. Good sources of information are important, so stick with your M.D. specialist and information from the National Institutes of Health, their National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, and Harvard and the Cleveland Clinic as good sources. Get medical advice on anything you might do that could stress your cardiovascular system. Take good care of yourself; this place wouldn't be the same without you.

So sorry for your suffering. Praying for your recovery and well being. Your experience is opposite mine--a couple of months ago I lost all feeling in one side for about an hour & got to the hospital (stroke). Feeling completely returned in a short time, thankfully. Mental fog for me dissipated after a few weeks. Occasional memory lapse now but I usually wonder if that's stroke related or what I experienced prior to the event. Anyhow--sorry to natter on about me :) Glad you're on the mend--hang in there! And thanks for sharing your experience. It's a help and encouragement to me.
kindly

Sorry to hear that, hopefully you can recover speedily.

Strokes are a silent assassin, like you getting one, but not have a really noticeable effect like limb defection or loosing motoric skills on one side. Maybe you cause some things you can't on age. Quite dangerous because it's not so obvious.
