Great pictures, what an amazing event. Long time exposure?….The heavens opened up. 6 degrees but I think I was in the driveway for about an hour.

Beautiful! And excellent picture taking. Was that with a good DSLR or was it just that easy to capture the Northern Lights with an iPhone?….The heavens opened up. 6 degrees but I think I was in the driveway for about an hour.

iphone 13.Beautiful! And excellent picture taking. Was that with a good DSLR or was it just that easy to capture the Northern Lights with an iPhone?
I’ve always wanted to see the lights in person, but they just hardly ever happen (especially like that) in the northern latitudes of the lower 48.
Just my iphone.Great pictures, what an amazing event. Long time exposure?
Same here. When I first noticed it, I thought it was some kind of search light or something. And then it grew in the sky and started dancing . . . it was the most beautiful and unnatural looking thing I had ever seen.I've only ever seen it once in my life. And it's something I'll never forget. Doesn't even look real.
Hahaha, a little too “middle of winter” for that right now, but I suppose you never knowBeautiful! I thought you’d say “attacked by a bear”
Yeah, like anything in the dark it’s definitely one of those “photos never do it justice” things. I have a video I’ll post later where you can see them dancing. These were some of the fastest movers I’ve ever seen.Wow that is so intense, and this is looking at photos.
I can only imagine how impressive it would be seeing it on site!
