We got the Shih-Tzu. She's a total couch potato! She took no time in making herself comfortable.

We have a Shiranian, which is a cross between the Shih-Tzu and the Pomeranian.

She looks very much like the sheepdog when not groomed, lol.

Just talking to my wife. It is about time to get another dog. Already have a Rott / German mix, but she is getting up at 9 years old, and starting to slow down a bit.
No hurry here, but we will need another large, outside, barker in the next year or so.
Will be a rescue of some sort, everything we got around here is a rescue. Me included.

Rescue dogs are the best. I knew I liked this dog as soon as I found her. I guess I could have kept her from the start and saved $30 we paid the Shelter, but I wanted to give her owners a chance. We got her shots and next weekend, she's going to the groomer to get her summer haircut. She's already decided she's my dog. Everywhere I go she follows me snorting and wagging.

I love how they snort, we call mine snonky all the time. I love keeping them in a puppy hair cut too, I think its cuter

We had a couple of Bull Mastiffs when I was young.

John - Not only are they cute, but they are very gentle with children in case you and your girl are thinking of ever getting any of those.

Ive actually heard that before phillip. The only thng is I have two stipulations on the dog I pick...1 small 2 hypoallergenic....Bull Mastiffs arent either of those haha

Here's an old band photo from around 1999. Hilarity almost always ensued whenever we got out a camera. This time, my Great Dane wandered into the picture. We took several photos not even realizing he was standing there. I wanted to use the photo, but the other members objected, because they didn't want to constantly have to tell people the dog isn't in the band. Instead, we ended up having to explain why our drummer wore a fucken helmet.
EDIT: He wore the helmet because he is retarded.
