I just ordered a bent Dublin 79 and a Tomato 40. I like the business model, and I like the idea of a blemished, yet kept blemished briar.

I smoked my first bowl in this crappy pipe. Peter Heinrichs Reserve Crue No. 2. It was a splendid smoke on a hot and humid evening. I may keep this crappy pipe just for this blend.
UPDATE: I've dedicated this pipe to Peter Heinrichs Reserve Crue No. 2. After several days of very cold weather, it went above 50°f with a beautiful sunny sky. I sat out on the deck and enjoyed a bowl.
Brilliant idea, brilliant thread! We go on and on about pipe quality, but what what constitutes crap rarely comes up, and not knowing the definition, crap generally goes by unnoticed and without its proper due. Here here!
