So Few Smoke Derringer!?!

This blend is my go to smoke more often than not. I never, or rarely, see members smoking it. Please offer your opinions. A lovely melange of va’s of various colors characterize this blend. What’s not to like?

it does get talked about just seems to be in sentences about go to blends. Not knock your socks off blends.

I tried a sample of it and don’t recall much other than it didn’t want me to buy more. It as very dry but I don’t know if it is always that way or just the sample. Not that I have an issue with dryness but it would have to replace the spot Daughters & Ryan holds for me and it didn’t.

That is my nondescript experience with it.

These great day to day smokes don't get mentioned nearly as much as those blends that give a particularly wow smoke.

I like Derringer for the occasional smoke. I find it similar to Yorktown, but with rougher edges.

I agree re the rough edges, but the ”nose” on this blend exceeds Yorktown in my opinion. Aged Derringer is wonderful, and most of mine is in excess of a year. Thanks for your observations!
