It's a lot of fun reading about old companies and their nomenclature. Dunhill is always rich with the subject.
I've been acquiring older briar estates lately and classic styles. I have a mind set that these older pieces deliver a more mellow experience, and by their history alone, I find this is true.
They don't have to be Dunhills, but when they are, (I've got only one, a shell from 1954) they're just that much more 'special'.
