Thanks! Yeah, STG and Mac Baren are different outfits. Looks like Planta stopped production at the end of last August. And this doesn't just effect Presbyterian, but all Planta made pipe tobacco, eh?

I tried it this afternoon having not tried it before. Wanted to see if I could/should jump on the sale (I'm in FL so Tobaccopipes isn't really an option). I thought it a little flat. BUT of course just popped the the 8 month old tin and smoked so breathing time might be in order first and one partial bowl isn't a true make or break.

The tins from SP have been the new Mac Baren produced ones for a while now. Older tin style on left, MB version on right.
