I’ve been doing most of my online shopping at SmokingPipes. I’m always checking the site every Tuesday and Thursday for their updates and following them on their social medias for info on new product drops. Always stop by their table at the Vegas show to say hello and see what pipes they’ve brought with them.
I’m starting to collect Peterson 264s, trying to amass as many finishes as I can, and saw they had a Killarney in good condition, so I bought that and some pipe cleaners and a Santa tamper Buttons for Your Britches made. It was supposed to arrive today, but yesterday I received two boxes from Smoking Pipes. I started to wonder if I have a problem and just can’t remember what I ordered. I opened one box which had the Peterson and everything I remember ordering. Then it was time to open the second box. The only thing in it was a small gift wrapped box with a tag To: Our Friend From: Smoking Pipes. I quickly opened the packaging and found a Kiribi box. I slid off the protective cover opened the box and found this gorgeous gold colored lighter with a wonderful winter scene on it and the Smoking Pipes logo on one side.
I was blown away! A really nice Old Boy Kiribi lighter as a thank you gift from Smoking Pipes. Companies in general don’t thank long time customers like that these days. I was really touched and overwhelmed with joy. This is why I shop with SmokingPipes, because they really do care about their customers.
