I purchased a bunch of Ennerdale and I am praying it has some sauce on the stuff since the last lot was a bit bland. I asked @Chasing Embers his opinion on the last batch and he thought the stuff from a few years ago had more sauce to it. Well fingers crossed lets see what this new batch tastes like! Since @weezell and I tend to split orders I shall be interested to see how he faired today. I was sorry to see no Broken Flake #7 as that is always a nice smoke.

Talk from elsewhere is already talking of the diminished flavoring on this drop.

My humble order from todays drop. I wanted to get more but I spent too much money on increasing my cellar last week and I was rushing to get this order in because of the site problems and FOMO on the three blends I wanted the most.

yeah it's hit or miss. Seems like the more curious I am about a particular pipe the better chance the site isn't opening.

What is the best scented Gawith in your taste? I tried Ennerdale and now I'm looking to branch out.

Personally I prefer Dark Flake Scented, Conniston Cut Plug and Bosun Cut Plug. They have more defined top noted for my taste, Ennerdale is very good but can get cloying, and yes, soapy at times. That’s all subjective though.

Good stuff, I've got some Bosun and Coniston on the way from Boswell's. My biggest issue with Ennerdale was it tended to go pretty flat past the halfway point. Looking forward to trying more of the lakelands.
