Oh, and I'm a Silver VIP so I've spent a reasonable amount with them.
What do you mean, Willis, when you say you get a card?? I don't get squat from them and I live in the lower 48,
Silver VIP, Gold friend (more than 10 years), several other Golds.......usually a Christmas card but so far not this year......I guess the distance has something to do with it.
I should try that some time.
Are you sure an anonymous friend or loved one didn't buy it from them and have it shipped directly to you?
They should send me a nice pipe - I just realized I had set up some expedited shipping for my 4AB order and looking over the numbers from two orders after that which seemed out of whack and got here really fast, I realized I was just continuing to be assigned $$$ shipping -- oops!

I'm a VIP Silver level and was feeling pretty darn important when a Christmas card arrived earlier this week. Things went down hill fast when my wife opened the card and screamed she's tired of finding random boxes full of pipe tobacco on the porch and the last straw was seeing that I'm now receiving holiday cards for my being a loyal customer as well.
